How does The Gussy work?
Next time you’re caught in a storm, drape this cover over your purse and Embrace the Rain! If you have a handbag like a hobo with a wider strap, just slip the strap through all three of the Gussy™ top flaps and reattach the Velcro – like this.
If you’re carrying something daintier with a smaller top handle, just slip the handle through the middle flap and reattach the Velcro – like this.
Will it work with my particular purse?
The Gussy™ is designed to work with most purses that have some kind of handle – whether it’s a cross-body bag, hobo bag, tote, top handle bag – you name it.
Will it work with a really small purse, like a baguette or clutch?
The Gussy™ isn’t necessarily designed for a very small clutch or baguette with no handle. We hope to roll out new products for very small bags in the future. In the meantime, tuck it up nice and tightly under your arm!
Do you have different sizes?
The Gussy™ will work with a wide range of bag sizes and shapes. We are considering introducing additional sizes. Please let us know if you think that’s a good idea!
Is it waterproof?
The Charlotte and Caroline are made with microfiber and are Durable Water Repellent (DWR). The Jenny and Meredith are made with a waterproof laminated fabric. The Gussy™ is designed for keeping your purse dry when you’re walking to the subway, heading into a restaurant in the pouring rain, etc. – not for long hikes in a monsoon or standing on the bow of a ship during a major hurricane! (You get the difference.)
What are the care instructions?
The microfiber Gussy™ covers can be machine washed in cold water followed by a tumble dry on low when necessary. (Just be aware the DWR finish will wear down with multiple washings.) The laminated Gussy™ covers can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns for a refund with the following guidelines: Returns must be postmarked within 15 days from the date the item was delivered. If you wish to return an item, please email email@example.com for receipt of a Return Authorization number and the address for return shipping. Please include the original receipt with the returned item. We are not responsible for return packages lost in transit and therefore strongly recommend getting a tracking number and insurance for return shipping. All sale items are final sale.
